Today was a great day! November 3 2012

I have been waiting for a place my sewing machine could call home other than in the sewing table its stored in for 3 years.

I’ve had to set up the machine every time I want to sew. And sew on the dining table. Then store machine back in sewing table.

This morning started with breakfast my hubby went and picked up. Then he started working in the room I wanted to use for sewing.

Its going to be wonderful to not have to put it away each time. It will save time when I want to sew.

With winter coming my first project is for the puppy. Her pen is in a drafty part of the house.

This is a big project 7 yards of fabric to enclose her pen. Took me almost 5 hours to complete it. But its perfect and she ran right in and snuggled into her bed for a nap.

Next up more stuff for the pup. LoL

Heart Racing Morning October 29, 2012

Very scary waking moments this morning.

I woke up to this sight

My pups crate open. At first I thought oh..ok the kids are up?? Then I thought YEA RIGHT! And I screamed wheres the dog?!

No answer or dog running to me. I scream again where is the dog?? Still no answer I go into spare bathroom cat litter box still intact, cat food still in bowl.

Kids trash on floor like usual. I then say hey guys get up!! Where is the puppy?!!!! I found the cat sound asleep.

By now im very scared. Looking in kids bedrooms, up and down hall way, bathrooms, go back to crate to see pup sitting up in crate with a kinda guilty look on her face.

I picked her up sniffed her mouth dont smell cat food. I hope she didnt get into it or we will be at the vet later. I guess she never left her crate.. But honestly I dont believe that for a moment! LOL

Waffles is ONE!!

Our yorkie-poo Puppy is now One year old. she is full-grown we are told. But at just 9 pounds she will always be a puppy to us. People say you save an animal from the shelter. I beg to differ. She saved us. She has brought so much happiness to our lives. Shes brought my Child with aspergers out of his shell.

She goes everywhere with us. School drop offs in the morning, camping, grandparents visits. Shes a great addition to our family. Here are some pictures of her first year.

This is the day we brought her home. The first time we met her.

Buying her a harness and leash. My son with Aspergers was holding her. Since the day we brought her home he has not wanted to set her down. This is one pampered pup.

Waffles loves car rides!

Her first time camping. She had a blast. We knew at that moment we fell in love with the perfect pup for us.

Growing up! Shes looking like an adult Yorkie-poo now. She is 7 months old. She loves to nap on my bed.

Bath time! She loves the bath.

Her favorite ball. Loves wiffle balls!

The big day has arrived!! Waffles is ONE YEAR OLD!! 10/1

Here is a picture with her in her Halloween costume.

The tale of the broken rubber UPDATE!!!!

Band that is. It was a pretty blue rubberband. A large sized one for trash cans.

The type that you use to hold a trash bag in the can. Well yesterday I opened the can, pushed the trash down a bit. And SNAP, PSHUME!! It flew!

It was like these but blue.

I cant find it. I’ve looked, my hubby, the boys. We’ve looked high, we’ve looked low.

I’m hoping, praying the puppy didn’t find it and wont find it. Rubberbands and pets don’t mix. They eat them. And can get intestines all bound up.

For the time being puppy isn’t allowed in kitchen alone. I’m hoping we can find that rubberband.

Till then.. its the case of the broken that is

Thanks for stopping by..

My son found the MIA rubberband AND it didn’t break!! Here is where he found it. We all looked at the chairs didn’t see it. But today my son found it!

The tale of the torn toy..

So this tale begins with a puppy and ends in a stuffed toy hospital.

Yes we have a stuffed toy hospital in my home. With a rambunctious 11month old Yorkiepoo we have to!

And she cries when I put her toys in triage area. And she cries LOUDER while I’m fixing the beloved toys.

It makes it very hard to fix her toys with the horrible sounds she makes.

Take a look at how she treats her toys.

A nice quiet day

Well today has been a nice quiet day so far.

Dropped my boys off early this morning to help a fellow Boy Scout on his Eagle project.

My boys go and work at all their friends Eagle projects. They really enjoy it. And they always learn something new.

So its just been me and my pup and the cat of course here today. Its been very quiet and enjoyable. Ahh.

Hope my boys are having fun! They are installing chain link fence at a preschool.

Hope you all have a great day! Thanks for reading 🙂
