Inland Empire fun

We had a great time on our trip this last week. We stayed at La Quinta Inn and Suites. Doggy friendly, clean, nice staff and breakfast daily.

And warm cookies in the evening.

We went to Old Town Temecula and enjoyed a root beer, pickle and a nice walk down the center of town.

We visited the museum in Temecula about its history. It was pretty cool.

We drove around Menifee, Murrieta and Temecula and came to the conclusion we don’t want to live in the Inland Empire. And with that we look seriously to Arizona. Woot!

While on our trip we dropped into Petco to get some supplies for the pup and found a toy she loves.

Fuel was more expensive in Temecula than it is here. :-0 which is quite surprising.

We had a wonderful relaxing get away.

Potty pad success AT LAST

Well there is no grass in Temecula near the dog friendly hotel we are staying at. That’s a big problem for a pup that won’t go potty on dirt or concrete.
We were told to take her to potty area. We did. She was like um NO! Its dirty!
image

So off to Petco to buy attractant to spray on her potty patch we went.

We got a cute toy of course. A cactus which is perfect as we have made our final decision. We will be looking to buy in Arizona. We have searched all areas of CA where we can afford to buy. Haven’t found the perfect homes with the wants we have. Arizona the homes come the way we want and property tax is miniscule compared to over inflated, over crowded CA.

Part of the next chapter of our RVing lives

image

We sold the trailer last month. The truck is now for sale. We are going to buy a used motorhome when we have cash saved up.

We are excited to be loan free for the first time in 7 years. That is why the next RV will be paid for in full. No loan!

Our camping adventure is far from over. We really love it. And are looking forward to getting a new toy to work on and fix up.

Summer fun on the weekend

We had a great and slightly weird weekend.

It started with going to the Aquarium of the Pacific. The boys and I have been there a few times. My hubby had never been.

image

image

We had an awesome time there. We then went home and made reservations to stay in a cabin at a camp ground. This is where it got weird.

We arrived Sunday after looking at some open houses in that area. My camera kept screwing up. Wouldn’t video tape a certain home. Hubbys camera battery died in that home even though it was fully charged when we left our house 2 hours before.

Both videos I tried to take have weird clicking and then shut off. I tried to tape whole house. I never shut off video. Camera kept doing it.

We had a great lunch at Benny’s

image

While in city we also looked at the old mill. People claim its haunted by a 16-18 Year old girl. All looked good to me. Its an abandoned building.

image

image

Its old town section is adorable.

Well then off to camp ground and a scared to death pup as soon as we entered the cabin.

image

Pup wouldn’t let my son set her down. She was shaking and shivering violently. As soon as hubby got there I told him something on here she’s scared of. He turned place upside down.
We found rodent droppings. We got in car and drove home! Thank God my pup has a good nose.

So our mini vacation went wacko. But we’re not going to die from some rodent virus. And for that I’m greatful. We set out for an adventure. We got one!

image

Maybe it was the super moon that created the weirdness.

Monday found us at ShoreLine Village, The Korean friendship bell and a picnic lunch.

We also did a drive by on the Iowa Battleship

It was a wacky weekend. But it was fun!

Our Easter trip to Arizona

Was an awesome trip. We loved what we saw. We are going back this summer for a week to pick neighborhoods were interested in living in.
image

People are sooooo much calmer there than here in Cali. It was amazing. All my families aliments were gone as they usually are when we visit desert climates.
image

Took Greg the egg with us as we were there on Easter.
image

One of my sons was on a trip with school to DC, New York, Philly. So it was a perfect time for us to go. I hate being home on holidays if all of the kids aren’t here.
image

Pup did great on the 6 hour trip. And in a hotel. It was her first time in a hotel. We usually travel with our RV. But she’s great in a hotel. Which was awesome. Seeing as our RV is up for sale! WOOT!! Just another part of our journey to own a home.

There is life

Outside that door, there is life. I can sit here and play on twitter, instagram, my fav forums. Or I can choose to live my life.

I choose to live life, and play. Enjoy the time I will still be in Coastal California, which I hope will be short!

I deleted my Facebook that was attached to my twitter a month ago. So glad I did. One less place I feel obligated to check in. Twitter bores me mostly, I go there and talk to myself. LoL

I prefer my Instagram. I like to see peoples lives threw their eyes, camera lens. I’ve seen places all over the world thanks to Instagram.

I’m a traveler by nature. Always been happier in RV than house even as a child.

I’m getting ready for a huge life change. I need to get focused. Lose things that distract me. My blog will remain no matter what. It helps keep me grounded, focused.

Its a place to put my thoughts. To help me process my day. And a place to write my family’s journey through life, autism, health issues, our relocating.

Now if it would just help me get this house into a 26′ truck. I just don’t see this house fitting into a truck. My husband assures me it will be fine. I guess I will believe it when I see it.
